AccelBio is looking for one (1) Research Fellow to join CoLAB AccelBio, under the project “PregnancySAFE: A human placenta-heart microfluidic device for drug safety validation during pregnancy” with the funding support from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), project n.º 2023.11807.PEX.

The Research Fellow will be responsible for providing technical and scientific support to 1) develop a
microfluidic device that simulates the human placenta barrier using high-resolution 3D printing technology, 2) perform biocompatibility validation of the device and 3) assess placenta barrier structure and permeability function.
