From October 12th to 14th, 2026, the AccelBio team stepped away from the lab and the office for a three-day leadership workshop delivered by chaperone, led by Ana Isabel Azevedo.

Over the three days, the team explored what it truly means to lead: starting with self-leadership, moving on to leading others, and concluding with leadership in action. The progression gave everyone the space to reflect, challenge themselves, and grow, both individually and as a team, and the overall experience left a lasting impression on all of us.

Building a strong team goes beyond scientific excellence. Developing leadership skills, strengthening communication, and reflecting on how we work together are just as important in driving AccelBio’s mission forward.
